My Approach

Hypnotherapy is usually a brief, strategic therapy - one that is aimed specifically at finding a solution to your problems as quickly, safely and efficiently as possible. I offer a broad range of therapeutic techniques, so the therapy I offer will be completely tailored to your requirements.

When you first book a session with me, I will send you a new client questionnaire which I will ask you to ideally complete before the session. After the first session (if more than one session is needed) I will draw up a treatment plan outlining the likely content and duration of therapy. My goal is always to enable you to reach your goals in the shortest time-frame.

Each session you have with me will typically last around 90 minutes, half of this will usually focus on counselling / psychotherapy whilst the second half will normally focus on hypno-therapeutic techniques.

I work from a home office, it's a peaceful environment and I will do everything I can to make sure that you feel safe, listened to and understood.

Whilst we are working together I will:

  • Ensure that the therapy you receive is tailored specifically to you. At every session we will focus that session on what you specifically want to discuss on the day. If you book a session for one thing and then change your mind to something completely different, that's no problem.

  • Where possible I will teach you techniques and set you exercises to complete outside of sessions. This helps to minimise the numer of sessions you will need.

  • I will provide a safe, therapeutic space. I allow at least 90 minutes a session and don't book sessions back to back, so you won't feel rushed.

  • I provide free personalised recordings for each hypnosis session. Again this helps to consolidate progress and minimise the number of sessions you will need.

  • I will be available on e-mail for support after and between sessions.
